"Somebody That I Used To Know" is Everywhere!

If you like Gotye and Kimbra's song, "Somebody That I Used To Know," you would probably be interested to know there are many other great versions of the song... like A LOT of versions of this song.

A band called Walk Off The Earth covered the song and posted their video to YouTube.  It has become an internet sensation since then.  It features the 5 bandmates at a guitar all playing the one guitar.  The musicians have great voices and they do a wonderful job with the song.

So then came the parodies!  There are parodies of the original version, parodies of the Walk Off The Earth version, and even parodies of parodies!  The entire "Somebody That I Used To Know" craze is now getting out of hand.  You can't even look at someone's blog without reading about it.  Like for instance, if you are reading this now, I am totally right!  You can't even read my blog without hearing about "Somebody That I Used To Know."

If you want to watch some of the "Somebody That I Used To Know" videos, you can either search on YouTube for a number of quality parodies or remakes of the song, or you can check out: The Many Versions of "Somebody That I Used To Know."  You will never get this song out of your head!

Jenna Marbles / Jenna Mourey on YouTube!

Normally, I do not take the time to promote anyone else's blog or vlogs in my own writing.  To be perfectly honest, I am just not that generous.  However, I happened to stumble upon perhaps the greatest vlogger of all time - Jenna Marbles a.k.a. Jenna Mourey.

I was on an online dating site (yeah, that is another story, don't ask) and this dude said he was all about this girl.  He said he is looking for his own Jenna Marbles.  Naturally, I was curious and I needed to check her out.  Much to my surprise, I decided Jenna is actually super cool.  If I were a dude, I would totally want to hook up with her, too.  So to that dude on Plenty of Fish, good luck with that.  To anyone else reading this, Jenna is hilarious.

So, all my couch potato peeps that might be reading this, get off the couch and check out some of her stuff.  Jenna's Facebook page is: Jenna Mourey's Facebook Fan Page.  Some of her videos on YouTube are:

Charlie the Unicorn

It has been a long time since anyone has talked about Charlie the Unicorn and, well, I love Charlie, so I am going to talk about him.  I just love that completely ridiculous cartoon.  I still find my singing a happy song and announcing, "I'm on a bridge... a magical bridge of hope and wonder," whenever I cross a bridge.  Sometimes it just cheers me up.

Lately, my job has been quite stressful.  If your job is stressful, too, maybe you need to take another look at Charlie the Unicorn.  If you've never had the pleasure of viewing this cartoon, well, you are in for a real treat.  I present to you... Charlie the Unicorn!

If you like Charlie the Unicorn, you will probably also like Detective Mittens: The Crime Solving Cat.  If you want to watch a sick, crazy cat, check it out!

Messin' With Sasquatch

If you are a true Couch Potato surely you have experienced the joy of the Jack Link's Jerky Messin' with Sasquatch commercials.  These are truly some of the best commercials out there.  Recently, I saw some new Messin' with Sasquatch commercials.  They usually air on cable channels.  So if you've never seen one before, pay attention when watching a Comedy Central or Syfy program.

For now, you can enjoy a nice assortment of clips from someone that was kind enough to create a Messin' with Sasquatch Youtube compilation video:
